Johnston Farm and Composting has been in operation for 27 years, beginning Fall of 1998.  Our goal has always been to provide a service to local, retail, and commercial customers, whereby they could bring in their leaves, grass, and brush to be recycled into what we call “Black Gold.”  The finished compost was then sold to customers to amend their gardens, flower beds, trees etc.

Over the years, we have enjoyed meeting many wonderful neighbors and friends and appreciate them very much for supporting our business.  As with everything, there is a season, and we have made a decision to exit our operation.  This decision has not been an easy one, but we thank you again for all your love and support.
